I am a Certified Public Accountant by profession. I attended Rutgers University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics, a minor in Mathematics and Computers, and a MBA in Management with an emphasis in Finance. I have over 30 years of business experience, knowledge and know how and I will use this experience and knowledge to work hard to save our state and its residents tax dollars, as I do for my clients.
Open government is essential to supplying the people of New Jersey with information. As Mayor of Franklin Township our municipality was one of the first in New Jersey to allow videotaping of our meetings. I implemented this policy so that all projects would be open to the public for transparency, comment and scrutiny.
I was a Republican Mayor in town with a Democratic majority of voters and a Democratic Council. When I left as a 3 term Mayor to become a Somerset County Freeholder Franklin Township was strong fiscally and had one of the highest surpluses in the State of New Jersey. We achieved this by using conservative budgeting, fiscal prudence, and attention to detail. These achievements allowed me to win mayoral elections when I was out-registered by Democrats by as much as 3 to 1. Franklin Township believed in me and I delivered to them. I know I can win the Governorship this November and do the same for all of New Jersey.
Governor Chris Christie appointed me to The Red Tape Review Commission which was chaired by Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. Working together, we saved New Jersey millions of dollars in wasteful spending and cut miles of Red Tape. As Governor, I will renew The Red Tape Review Commission so we can once again cut wasteful government spending and over-regulation. We are one of the highest tax states in the country, I will not burden our residents with higher taxes, instead we will work together to stabilize our current tax structure.
I have always received strong Republican support. For the 2016 Republican National Convention I was an Alternate Delegate. I have strong conservative values, but I am open minded and continue to gain the support from Independent and Democrat voters alike, because they know I listen to them, I’m honest with them and I work across the aisle to support American values.
I will work to protect our environment and its natural resources and to help our environment become more sustainable through conservation and working with coalitions to be environmentally conscious and friendly. We are The Garden State.
The current Governor said that the Bill of Rights to the Constitution is “…above my paygrade…” and that “I wasn’t thinking of the Bill of Rights” when implementing Executive Orders. I support The 2nd Amendment and I will fight to protect the rights of our citizens. Under my administration we will not be a sanctuary state, we will follow the law. We need a Governor who upholds and respects the Constitution, the law and the people.
Our businesses and families for which they provide deserve our empathy and our help. I will help create jobs and revenue for these people by becoming more business and tourist-friendly. I will be an advocate to provide a decent minimum wage for our citizens.
Businesses have been shuttered, Covid cases are still increasing, food insecurity is on the rise, we are the number 1 exit state in this country, people and jobs continue to leave our state. Our toll roads and bridges have some of the highest tolls in the nation while our infrastructure is crumbling, endangering our residents who drive on them for their living or to get to their jobs. We need to address this problem now, our citizens and families need to be safe.
Our residents need relief not higher prices. I will stem the tide of these unprecedented hardships and implement changes that will help keep our citizens in New Jersey by appointing strong leadership and see that these issues are addressed.
Honesty will be unimpeded, I will always “shoot straight” with all our citizens to let them know the state government is working for them and on their side. I am the conservative candidate who can beat Phil Murphy. Please give us your support to make New Jersey a better place for all, not just the few.
